CHRISTMAS 2007

At 2:00 in the morning, me, Catie, and Victoria snuck down stairs with our presents to put them under the tree.

At 7:00 in the morning, James running into our room screaming "Christmas! Christmas!". We went downstairs, had breakfast. Really fast! Because we were too excited about Christmas!

Then we started the great ceremony of opening up Christmas presents. We all got a whole mess of cool amazing presents! Cate got her Ipod and Victoria got her camera. I got a really amazing suitcase because they want me go home. Not really! They got it so I wouldn't have to buy one before I left. I'll really need it!

Then my parents called from Ukraine. My mom was trying to talk normal English to host mom and they were both too excited to understand what the other was saying!

Patti and Marlon came over for Christmas dinner. Marlon got a Christmas cracker set and we played with it. We played the song Jingle Bells together with everyone having one cracker (whistle) and Victoria and Marlon having two because Dad wouldn't help. He was sleeping! HEHE! In the crackers, we got little crowns with musical notes all over them! They were so cute!
We had turkey for dinner and like mom promised, we tried to carve it on the dining room table like in the movies. But it didn't happen because the turkey broke! It was cooked too much.

Catie and I went to babysit Oscar (the doggie) and when we came home, we watched National Treasure. Because the next day we were planning to watch National Treasure 2 in Galax.

So yup! That was my first American Christmas!!
